Building Back Better
As we resume in-person instruction at all our schools, we believe the Division of Adult and Career Education continues to play a critical role in regional and district efforts to heal, restore and enhance socio-economic vitality in the communities we serve, which have been hardest hit during the pandemic.

We believe our instructional programs should be as flexible as possible moving forward to accommodate working families. To that end, we currently offer 4 modes of instruction:
- In-person
(students receive classroom instruction at the school site) - Hybrid
(combines in-person with online instruction) - Online
(students complete courses virtually over the internet) - Distance Learning
(students complete learning activities at home and meet once a week with a teacher for tutoring).

Next Steps
Adult schools will pilot additional online courses during the summer. Summer course offerings can be found here. In the fall, based on student interest, performance data, and industry need, we plan to expand access to online programs across all DACE schools. Registration for summer is open now. Please visit: LAUnifiedAdult.org/Register for more information.
